Creation of Ideas
Dec 28, 2018
One of my greatest challenges since I began to "craft" regularly was doing my very first bridal shower table. This is a very important day for the future bride and groom, so it was very important to me to make sure their day was absolutely beautiful and that they did not have to worry. Before I start a project, I think of every possible outcome and what I want my final product to look like -- that must be the science in me coming out. The scientific method consists of observation, research, hypothesis, experiment, collecting data, analyzation, and conclusion. Before I begin a project, big or small, I pretty much follow those exact steps. I observe a theme -- whether it is wedding colors, the event design, or just following different patterns, and then I hop onto Pinterest for a little inspriation-- RESEARCH! Once I have an idea of what I want my finishing product to look like, I begin to test different ideas. This could be the products I am using the create the masterpiece, improvising different ideas to meet the budget, or using different mediums to the best final product. Once I begin to execute these ideas, sometimes trial and error, my once vision is now a completed masterpiece right in front of me.
